Although originally from Detroit, Harmony Muzik™ is an Urban/Hip Hop artist based out of D.C.s vibrant, yet highly-competitive music scene. In just a few short years she has steadily grown as a regional force along the East Coast, Mid-Atlantic and Southern markets. Also known as a business mogul in the making, Harmony Muzik is the founder of the Law of the Few™ record pool and Muzik 4 the Cure™.
With nearly 200 shows under her belt since 2008, Harmony Muzik™ has made live shows one of her strong suits as an artist. Performing and touring in major cities along the East Coast from Atlanta to New York, recognizable highlights include the Vans Warped Tour 2011, SXSW 2010-2011, Hip Hop Howl 2011, DCs Caribbean Carnival 2010, & CASRAM 2010. Notable venues include: Comerica Park [Detroit, MI], Tomkins Sq. Park [NYC], 9:30 Club [Washington, D.C.], and the Historic Victory Grill [Austin, TX]. Harmony has opened for Trey Songz, Dilated Peoples, Meek Mill, Cassidy, Tabi Bonney, One Be Lo, STS, Invincible, and more.
The most recent project is Harmonys street album, Gen X (July 2011) and Gen X: Uncut (Dec 2011). Gen X is presented by the highly acclaimed DJ Ykcor and The Funkregulata Celo. The project features radio singles including, Eat You Alive, 50 Gs and Trials, and is featured on hundreds of websites and blogs. Production credits include Benny Rome [Drum Majors ATL], J-$crilla [Guns +Butter], Basshedz, Certified, and Grussle. Harmony Muzik™ released her first full length album, The Masquerade in July 2010. This first major offering earned her two Southern Entertainment Award nominations in 2011[Best Indie R&B Artist and Best Indie R&B Album], as well as a local nod for Best R&B Female in Virginia at the annual independent music awards in D.C. Harmony has also been featured on over 50 mixtapes and compilations in the last year from DJs and artists all over the world.
Harmony Muzik™ has been highlighted and interviewed on a variety of print, radio, and online media. Harmonys most recent singles are currently in mix-show rotation throughout the east coast and south, as well as Canada and the UK; with her strongest market being Washington, D.C.
